What PinGrab does
Pinterest keeps the same image at several widths on the same path: a small feed thumbnail, a medium version for the grid, and the full upload under /originals/. Saving with right-click usually hands you one of the small ones. PinGrab rewrites the address to the original version and returns that instead.
- Open the pin you want in the Pinterest app or on the web.
- Tap the three dots above the pin and choose Copy link.
- Paste the link in the box above and press Download.
- Check the preview — a pin with several images gives you a button for each.
- Press the image button and the file is saved at its original size.
What works
- Public pins, including images inside public boards and profiles
- pin.it short links copied from the mobile share sheet
- The full /originals/ version in its original JPG, PNG or WebP format
What does not work
- Pins on secret boards or in private profiles
- Pins deleted by their creator or removed for policy reasons
- A resolution larger than what the pinner uploaded in the first place
